Ceres Community Project in San Rafael has been creating a healthy community around whole, sustainable food since the fall of 2010.
Our kitchen is located at the Community Action Marin kitchen in San Rafael’s Vineyard Business Park. On Wednesday and Thursday afternoons teens from Marin middle and high schools gather there to learn to build a healthy community around healthful food.
We are grateful to our supportive partners! Whole Foods Market donates food and provides meal bags, as well as supporting Ceres with a $1 donation from the sale of Ceres branded salads from the Deli case. Silk Road Teas, a San Rafael Company, supports our work by donating a portion of every tea box sale. Every week Gourmet Mushrooms donates beautiful mushrooms that add important nutrition to our clients’ meals.
